Scott Moloney is the founder of Treat Dreams. Treat Dreams opened in August 2010 and has since gained a reputation as one of the most unique ice cream parlors in the Midwest. Since its inception, Treat Dreams has made more than 2,000 unique ice cream flavors.
Treat Dreams is committed to creating a fun experience that will become a part of tradition for locals and tourists alike. It is our mission to provide customers with creative and delicious ice cream options in an environment that contributes to creating some of life's best moments.
Ferndale

Located on Woodward Ave in Downtown Ferndale, Treat Dreams opened its doors August 13, 2010. What once was an ice cream shop full of unusual flavors has now grown into a haven for all things sweet. In addition to our house made gourmet treats, Treat Dreams partners with local businesses, such as Kitty's Cheesecakes and Cannelle by Matt Knio.
Our Ferndale location is also now home to Meillie Coffee and Hero or Villain: HQ.

Midtown

The energy and excitement happening in the City of Detroit, and particularly in Midtown was simply inescapable, making our second location an easy choice.
Sadly, Treat Dreams Midtown has permanently closed as of September 17, 2023. We have enjoyed meeting each and every one of you since opening our doors in April 2015. We are very appreciative to all of you for letting us be a part of the neighborhood.
We are currently in conversation with area businesses about selling our pints in the Midtown area. Please stay posted for further updates. In the meantime, we would be honored if you made the trip to Ferndale, Madison Heights or Grosse Pointe Woods locations.

Madison Heights

Treat Dreams has expanded its footprint testing out a third location on June 30th, 2023 in Madison Heights. This location not only featured our hard scoop ice cream, they also served Soft Serve ice cream, Dole Soft Serve & Slushies as well!! It was a fun Summer in Madison Heights but we decided to stick with what we know best... Hard scoop ice cream!

in Grosse Pointe Woods. Treat Dreams GPW opened their doors on September 8, 2023. Grosse Pointe Woods has an upstairs private party room that has been a huge hit!
